Ben Nettles was born on June 8, 1977 in Tallahassee Florida. At the age of 9, Ben began taking private art lessons which included painting, sculpture, and design. After graduating high school in 1995, he decided that a career in the art industry would be his best choice. He then went on to graduate from the Ringling School of Art and Design with a bachelors degree in Illustration.

In 2006 Ben completed the advanced certification training course for concrete countertops taught by the legendary Fu-tung Cheng. He then went on to establish Ben Nettles Concrete Design LLC where he designs, fabricates, and installs custom concrete surfaces for the home, commercial properties, exteriors and also furniture and other products.

Over the past four year as a professional illustrator, Ben has won numerous awards from The Society of Illustrators, CMYK Magazine, and The RSVP Directory. Store 44 Reps out of Phoenix, AZ now represents all of Ben’s illustration and fine art works.

Ben now lives with his wife and three year old son Keagan in Sarasota Florida where he continues to create in his private studio.
